Corbett's actual winter bungalow, fully restored as a museum open to the public. Personal letters, hunting maps, original furniture, vintage photographs, and equipment are all on display. Nearby, Choti Haldwani is the model village Corbett built — he purchased the land, built a stone wall to protect crops from wild boar, and paid villagers' taxes. When he left India in 1947, he gifted the entire village to them. A guided heritage walk here, past the wall and to the house of his companion Moti Singh, is quietly moving.

In 1965, the forest department acquired it to set up the museum.
